I was grateful to catch a tweet from Sylvia Martinez last night about the 3Doodler pen. As per their Kickstarter campaign, “It’s a pen that can draw in the air! 3Doodler is the 3D printing pen you can hold in your hand. Lift your imagination off the page!”
Sylvia and I had a short back and forth over Twitter that made me marvel again at her ingenuity and my gluttony. She wondered if a glue gun could also be employed to create 3D scultpures (since ultimately the 3Doodler is shooting out melted plastic rather than melted glue). I wondered if you could use Easy Cheese.
