Just opened a 10-pack of @microbit_edu with my afterschool robotics girls at @BrearleyNYC. We’re excited to prototype! #girlscancode #STEMed

Yay! The boxed set of 10 micro:bits arrived today, and Colin Samuel, the new Director of Technology at Brearley, delivered them to my desk. I ran them upstairs to my afterschool Robotics club girls, and they immediately started playing with them. I’m imagining providing every girl a micro:bit — they already get a graphing calculator in 9th grade paid for by school fees…
