Thanks to @STEMsuccessEdu for gathering many of the resources shared at last week’s #ITPedcamp

Gina Tesoriero (@STEMsuccesEdu) gathered many of the resources shared out at last week’s inaugural ITPedcamp into one document. Here’s a direct link to the GoogleDoc she curated (which is also embedded below):

I just had a great week attending the inaugural ITP Made Education Camp at New York University this week. Here is the description copied and pasted from the website:

For over 30 years ITP has been a hub of experimentation in art, media, and technology. This summer will mark the first week-long event focused on education. ITP Make Education Camp will be held from July 7th-11th at ITP, at 721 Broadway, the main building for NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Join other educators in a weeklong flexible unconference style camp where we learn from each other by making stuff together, hearing from (and being) speakers and presenters, and collaborating with people from diverse disciplines.

Each day will be filled with presentations and discussions formed in response to participants’ interests and projects. And each night you will be able to work at ITP until close, taking advantage of the floor’s electronics lab, fabrication tools, and helpful guidance from ITP camp counselors.

Here are some of my favorite takeaways:
